These are the guidelines to selecting Edges within the sci-fi horror themes of Paragons.
The following Edges are prohibited either due to inconsistency with campaign themes or contradiction to setting rules.
REVISES: Cyborg
REQUIREMENTS: Novice
You’ve undergone full biological integration—a convergence of organic form and adaptive biotech. Your nervous system is threaded with smart-tissue scaffolds, and your body now houses living augmentation arrays that reroute, reinforce, and respond. Whether installed by corporate mandate, battlefield necessity, or outlawed ambition, your body is no longer fully your own—but it is undeniably more.
REQUIREMENTS: Initiate (Novice), Faith d6+, Survival d6+
They walk where the world is broken—through irradiated scrublands, Mnemoscape dead zones, and Void-poisoned sanctums—planting ideas like seeds, waiting for something better to grow.
Add +1 to Faith or Survival rolls when in the Hollow, Outlands, or Nox territory.
You may spend a Benny at any time to choose one of the following benefits:

In a world of kinetic plating and reactive mesh, some people still walk into battle with nothing but skin and instinct. And somehow, they walk out.
We’re using the Unarmored Hero setting rule, but this Edge further encourages the unarmored style.
REQUIREMENTS: Exemplar (Veteran), Bare Protocol, Agility d8+, Spirit d8+
There’s no alloy stronger than conviction, no shielding better than instinct. You’ve bled in the open, stared down fire in nothing but your name—and they still missed.

REQUIREMENTS: Awakened (Seasoned), Agility d8+, Shooting (Personal Guns or Rifles) d8+
You don’t plant your feet and fire. You move. You flow. The bullets follow.
A fluid, hyper-kinetic gunfighting style that turns every battle into a dance of motion and precision. Gun Fu thrives on movement.

Sword Fu is a fluid, hyper-kinetic melee art, where movement and precision become one seamless motion. A true disciple doesn’t block, doesn’t hesitate—they are already where the next strike needs to be.

This is the corporate version of Streetwise.
REQUIREMENTS: Initiate (Novice), Spirit d6+
There’s something wrong in your eyes—something people can’t place. They keep their distance, even when you smile.
